Er... ^^;;;; I'd recommend against the translate-the-French-to-English option.
Whenever you get four generations removed from the original dialogue, things are GOING to start going screwy...
...and the linguistic history of that site's translation is that it came from the English translation posted at Senshi Gakuen.
So by the time it went from Japanese to English to French to English, I have a feeling that you'd start getting the "operator game" effect, or the "babelfish" effect -- namely, starting with a phrase like "the spirit is willing but the flesh is weak" and going through translations and back to English as "the vodka is enthusiastic but the meat is rotten".
(That's not a made-up story, by the way. That actually happened while translating from English to Russian to English -- and I suspect that it may include at least part of the explanation of the Cold War... ^^;;;;

Whooops! I said the Ludwig was in the Hana to Yume, but then I realized Digital Angel said they were in the monthly Hana to Yume....I guess that makes it the Betsu one, huh?

Risu -> I was going to ask for the original scans if she have them and then I'll ask the english translation site for the true ones v_v;; I was aware too much translation will just screw it up entirely ^^;;;

@Yue: oops, sorry, misinterpreted there! ^^;; If they'll let us use their translation, cool, it'll both take it one step back up the "translation food chain" and save translating time!
@Carole: Yeah, I figured that out a minute too late too. (both about Ludwig Kakumei and about the new one in this year's July BetsuHana...) I'd just gone and written bilingual email to Asahiya USA asking whether they still had it web-orderable or not when I figured out that it was the BetsuHana which wasn't web-orderable anyway, and sent a quick follow-up mail, but they seem to have gotten the idea and said that they'd sent it along to their Chicago branch who would email me if they had it in stock.
Haven't heard back to date, so they may not have it... ;_; (I spotted a Yahoo Japan auction, but they took out the phone cards! I want that God Child phonecard if I'm going to go to the trouble of running it down!) And if I tried web-ordering Hana to Yume now, the month they'd send me would be *September.* Go figure...

Oh yes, I know about the French site. The problem is that they don't have all three stories, so we'd have to hunt the other two down anyways. ^^ Having the translations if they let us would be nice though, but we'd need permission from the original English translator.
On Boys Next Door: All right, the Chinese reading for that word by itself is "intense" or "drama", but if you put that word and the word for appearance together, you get "theater". Sooo..."one more dramatic appearance"? Though that could still mean a reissue or a sequel. I'm still voting on the reissue thing, since the picture is exactly the same and if it were a sequel, I'm sure there would be a big feature on it like there was on Blood Hound.

What Crisis said about the picture makes sense. If there was a sequel then I think there would at least be a new picture for it drawn by Kaori Yuki on the cover.
I'm interested about that "Dramatic Love" story though. "Full of heart-throb reading"? Since Kaori Yuki has her hand in it I'm guessing it's not your ordinary tale of love.

<h3>Mitsuketa!</h3>
I found Ludwig Kakumei on a site that's not even an auction - it's the Japanese equivalent of half.com; it's called Furima (flea market) and pretty much you name it, it's there somewhere (old comics, doujinshi, manga, etc etc).
This is a verrrrry dangerous place for me to have found, but fortunately I don't quite understand the interface yet so I can't go too wild and crazy.
But I figured out enough to be able to search for Yuki Kaori and found the Bessatsu Hana to Yume from July 2002 for $1! (of course, it'll end up as $13-$18 with the Celga fees and bank fees and shipping fees, but it's better than having the thing start out at $10 and go up from there...)
And the even better part is that even if someone has bought the particular one I asked them for, there are like 3 other copies of it on the site right about now... ^___^
That and I finally bit the bullet and signed up for a cable modem today. Between the fact that I need to document problems people have with cable modems and misconfigured firewalls and the campus VPN (and I don't want to too irreparably break my cable-modem-owning friends' firewall in the business of producing problems) and the fact that it takes me about 20-30 minutes just to *connect* via Dreamweaver and 56K modem to our 2,000+ page website when I'm working from home... this is going to be an expensive month, but it is SOOO gonna be worth it when I get *actual* networking at home. Plus I found out Best Buy had a deal going with a local provider so that the cable modem ended up being free... ^__^ that's an $80 savings right there. So I can go a little crazy on manga right? Or at least that's what I tell myself...
okay, going for food now... later all! ^__^
Ed: Oh yeah -- if anyone else wants to take a look around Furima:
Furima search for Yuki Kaori stuff
Now I really am going for food...

Cable modem! I can't even remember what my life was like without it.
Yowza! Six pages of Kaori Yuki merchandise! Must...not...spend...money.... XD
You've found the Ludwig in such a short amount of time! And for so cheap too! Definatly cheaper than the Blood Hound ^^;;

^^;;; I don't know if I'd say it quite that way... more like "if it's short and I know people would like to read it, I get sucked in" -- but while I'd love to own all 20 volumes of Angel Sanctuary, I'm not going to go out and spend $150ish to buy a set and import it. I'm going to wait for someone to publish it in a language I can read without struggling, and tag-team it with my anime-addicted friends! ^^;;
Doujinshi and single volumes of phonebook manga are a lot easier for me to rationalize to myself... plus they take up a lot less bookshelf space than a 20-volume manga set too... and short/single things are easier to sell at the annual JAC auction when I go through and have a manga cleanout...
...but yeah, I'm a sucker for small and obscure collectibles. ^^;; I have a CD by Inoue Kazuhiko (Bokura no Sora) that I think must have had a print run of maybe 500 on the face of the planet, because there are only like 5 websites other than AnimeLyrics.com (where I was the one who contributed translits and translations of it) which have even heard of the CD form's existence... several more know it was a stage show, but very few know a small press CD place in Japan whose call letters are BHCD actually released it...
I am SUCH a geek. @_@ Oh well; back to geekness... docs on the plate today and next week: telling people where to change their antivirus auto-updaters to, telling people how to pick leftover bits out of the registry after a third-party VPN client uninstalls itself VERY messily, and telling people how to set NTP on about 9 platforms... (reading that again) Yep, definitely a geek; good thing geeks seem to be marketable when the rest of my English-majoring college classmates are either grading essays or asking "do you want fries with that"...
